~ Use this form while interviewing to insure all candidates are considered equally based solely on the criteria that has been set beforehand. This keeps you from hiring only based upon personality, or worse, hiring a “This’ll do”

Standards_of_Comparison

~ Interview Questions are always tricky. Be mindful of any current laws regarding discrimination. For example, avoid saying, “Oh, you went to that school? So did my sister! What year did you graduate?”  This can give you the person’s age and that may be construed as discriminatory. Stick to questions that help you find out if this person has the skills, behaviors, drive and qualities you need to get the job done. These questions are only guidelines. They may or may not fit your state’s current laws. Please check with your attorney if you are not sure.
