Beth Terry took a risk in 1989 and walked out of her 27th floor Executive Office overlooking Honolulu Harbor for the last time. At that time she was the National Manager of Administration for a billion dollar Real Estate Corporation with offices in 16 states. The next day she opened Pacific Rim Seminars and began providing training programs for companies in Hawaii and South East Asia. Since that day Beth Terry has presented programs to more than 500,000 people in six countries.
She was a frequent guest columnist for the Honolulu Advertiser, Honolulu Star Bulletin, and Pacific Business News. She hosted a TV talk show called Making Your Life Work: featuring experts in various fields from accounting to construction to HR challenges. She has presented 3,000 speeches since starting out. And in 2006, Beth earned her Certified Speaking Professional (CSP) which is the highest earned designation from the National Speakers Association (NSA – the other one…) To date, about 10% of the speakers out of thousands internationally have received that designation.
